When you feel like you have tried everything and nothing seems to work, be creative, and never give up.
Beside doing the separation anxiety training which is a must to overcome the problem there are a few considerations to have in mind as well:
– Some dogs suffer from confinement issues and they do better when free in the house during training sessions.
– Others do better limited to a specific area where they feel safe.
– Some need longer sessions and some short ones.
– Some need more days off than others to process the information and reenergize.
But there is always a way! Just keep trying and you will find your dogs perfect fit to be successful and learn to stay alone anxiety free.
